The transition from student to professional is the outcome of the engineering course and placements open the doors to the corporate world. Hence, it is very important to have an effective preparation for the same. To quote Abraham Lincoln, “If I had nine hours to chop down a tree I’d spend the first six sharpening my axe”. Taking a cue from this quote, the Training and Placement cell at RIT organizes various programs throughout the year to mould the students to be pioneering professionals. The cell is headed by Training & Placement Officer Mrs. Poonam Sinai Kenkre and departmental faculty co-ordinators Mr. Shreeyank Jambhale, Mr. Bipin Naik, and administrative staff Mrs. Supriya Shirodkar.
The Placement cell organizes and extends services towards collaborative placement activities. To start with 2020 batch placement, T&P cell conducted training activities for the final year students mainly focusing on Campus placements, Personality Development and Group Discussions. Training was provided by Team of trainers from Seventh Sense Talent Solutions, Bangalore from 4th July 2019 to 11th July 2019 in college premises. This training has enhanced and upgraded the potential of the students to make them industry ready.
